Ray and Kathy Weaver - Bittersweet Kennels (574)-596-9079 Email
Winter training is done in South Carolina where Ray has access to great land and world class water.  This trip is good for dogs at all levels of training from puppies who haven’t seen water, to keeping more advanced dogs polished and ready for early spring hunt tests. ATT: We are now accepting dogs at all levels of training for our 2010 winter trip. Please contact us now for reservations!

In the Bittersweet home facilities, dogs are housed in kennels with both indoor and outdoor runs.  They are fed Pro Plan dog food, a premium food that meets the needs of an active dog.  Ray will treat your dog just like he treats his, with love and affection.  Ray spends time learning your dog’s personality, so he can meet the needs for training and care.

Ray offers training for dogs from puppies through finished levels for retrievers and pointing dogs. He recommends pups start training between five and six months old, but will take a dog at any age or stage of training. The adage that you can’t teach old dogs new tricks was written by an old dog!

Training programs are customized to the client’s wishes and the dog’s ability.
